Sonoview Imaging provides a variety of ultrasound exams to the community. They are listed below:
Obstetric (Pregnancy)
- First trimester: OBT1 dating, NT (Nuchal Translucency) screening.
- Second Trimester: OBT2 anatomy
- Third Trimester: OBT3 growth
General
- Abdomen: Liver, Gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, spleen and aorta.
- KUB: Kidneys, ureters, bladder/prostate (transabdominal).
- Pelvic/Transvaginal pelvic: Uterus, ovaries.
- Small Parts: Breast, Thyroid, Soft Tissue Masses, Scrotal
Vascular
- Carotid Doppler
- Leg Veins: R/O Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
- Arm Veins: R/O Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
- Kidney Doppler: R/O Renal Artery Stenosis (RAS)
- Peripheral Leg Arteries: R/O stenosis, blockages.
Appointment Details:
- An appointment is required, with a referral (requisition form) from you doctor in order to have an ultrasound exam
- You MUST have your insurance card information or full payment for your exam.
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to register and fill out the patient information form.
Exam Preparation:
- Abdomen (Liver, gallbladder,kidneys,spleen)—Nothing to eat or drink after midnight.
- Pelvic (Uterus, ovaries, lower abdomen)—Finish drinking (4) 8oz glasses of water (1) hour before scan.
- KUB (kidneys and bladder)—Finish drinking (4) 8oz glasses of water (1) hour before scan.
- Bladder or Prostate—Finish drinking (4) 8oz glasses of water (1) hour before scan.
- Abdomen and Pelvic—DO NOT eat after midnight, but DO finish (4) 8oz glasses of water (1) hour before scan.
- Obstetric (Pregnancy) OBT1 dating—Finish drinking (4) 8 oz. glasses of water (1) hour before scan.
- OBT2/ OBT3 (Anatomy or Growth)—Finish drinking (2) 8oz glasses of water (1) hour before scan.
- NT Scans—NO preparation is needed, an empty bladder.
- Kidney Doppler—Nothing to eat or drink after midnight.
- All other exams require NO preparation.
